Dominoes Delivery

When you accept delivery of anything, save your receipts and check them.Saturday,Oct 3rd,I ordered a Large Philly Cheese Steak pizza from Dominoes in Fitzgerald.

Delivery was prompt. While I was eating it I checked the bar coded label stuck on the box.

Then I checked my credit card receipt. Here's the thing, the box says it contains a 14 inch(large) pizza. The bar code says its a 14 inch pizza. The list price for a large pizza is $15.99. The price printed on the bar code label was $17.94. A separate delivery charge, and taxes were included.

When I contact customer service I plan to demand an audit. Someone is running a scam. If management hasn't caught it they're incompetent-or in on it.

And how was your weekend?

Homeless sex offenders directed to woods - Crime & courts

If you knew that your neighbor was a sexual predator, you'd probably be nervous. But even an act such as urinating in public is classified as a sex crime. And once labelled as a sex offender, you can pretty much write off having a life. A growing problem is homeless sex offenders. In the Atlanta area even the probation officers are advising those newly released from jails and prisons how to slip through the cracks. Go live in the woods. Now, when I was a child, exploring the woods was a pleasant adventure. What's a country boy gonna do these days.

Alcohol-sniffing anklet stirs privacy fears - Washington Post

At a basic cost of $12 a day, here's an ankle monitor that detects alcohol in your sweat. Cheaper than incarceration. More accurate than a Breathaliser. Currently in use in Virginia and a number of other states. Of course, the ACLU is up in arms about privacy issues. But the bottom line is,if you wind up in front of a judge because you can't control your use of alcohol, you need help.

Two Inmates Escape Ben Hill County Jail

Early Monday morning,James Darrell Villers and Dillon Levette Spencer left the Ben Hill County Jail. Sheriff McLemore was quoted in The Herald-Leader as saying,"the two men were able to escape from their cells-the door to the recreation room was unsecured, allowing them to get into the excercise yard. They then climbed a drainpipe and threw a sheet over the razor wire, gaining access to the roof of the jail. They jumped off the roof to the front of the building. Through a wooded area, behind a Chrysler dealership, to Calhoun road."

OK, Sheriff Bobby, here's where the questions start. Andy musta' been courtin' Miss Helen. Barney was over to Mt Pilot for a choir practise. Otis was in rehab. So how many job openings are there today at the County Jail?
