A northern Idaho man who police say shot four times and twice hit a Lewiston-based helicopter working on a controlled burn in Shoshone County has been charged with felony interfering with or destruction of an aircraft.

Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve, 13988 Range Line Rd. in Niles, celebrates Seuss' birthday and his book,A "The Lorax," with aA program for kids of all ages, titled, "I Speak for the Trees," from 1 to 3 p.m. March 10.
