Here come the anti-cop comments from the scared little boys sitting at home behind their computers. There is good and bad in all professions! Obviously this guy was one of the bad ones and he has properly been dispatched from this profession. Mr. Bad Bacon and TPD will just be the start of the internet tough guys who will take this opportunity to make anti-cop blog statements from the safety of their home, which is provided by the same people they love to jeer.

In every group, it is normal to find a few bad apples.

Effective management is that which identifies and removes them prior to problems.

Ok, management is that which deals effectively with problems.

Policing in California presents some severe challenges, besides dealing with bad guys:

Police unions make it difficult, if not impossible to deal with bad cops prior to a problem.

Court decisions, make it difficult for the cops to have clear limits on their jobs and responsibilities.(Having some random chance of getting into trouble for just doing your job, is not good.)

There are lots of things that need fixing.

And if you think that you are "protected", you are delusional. It is merely inertia which is keeping you safe.

Okay Miss Cleo, put your money where you mouth is. Let's see you identify yourself: name, address and telepone number. This will be interesting. I'm sure we'll then see who's really scared.
Mr. Cleo
P.S. If you truly identify yourself, I will as well.

This "victim" disgusts me. Why did she agree to meet the officer after duty? Because she's no victim, that's why. She knew exactly what she was doing, and when things didn't work out for her she sued the city. She should be ashamed of herself.

I know this Officer and he is a great guy. I have a feeling that this woman and her SLIM BALL ATTORNEY are looking for a free be. Well they have succeeded. They should get NOTHING. He probably asked her out on date and she took this for all its worth and played her deck of cards and won. Nothing like cheating the tax payers out of money.

As I've stated before,I 'hate' cops! I refer to them as 'pigs', because that is what they really are! They wallow in the muck of their self-righteousness; and think just because they wear (hide behind) a badge, and carry a gun...that they can do,or say anything they want to the average citizen and get away, with their heinous crimes, but this little piggy did not! This badge wearing 'rapist',thought he could use his powers of persuasion,to commit a crime of convenience, after all while people are being robbed and murdered on the streets,of our city;this pig parlayed his badge and his gun,for sex! This 'joke',crawled from under his rock to 'protect and to serve'. Who?

While the "victim" shares some culpability, I believe the police officer should have known better and exercised better discretion as knowledge and discretion are qualities that are integral to being a police officer. There are a lot of "police groupies" out there in addition to professional victims looking to exploit the police. The officer was aware of this woman's checkered past which should've been a red flag and precluded him from seeking any off-duty relations. It's a tough lesson to learn, one that has ruined his career.

I hope other police officers learn from his mistake as most officers are pillars of our community.

Miss Cleo, since you haven't identified yourself, I guess you are the scared one sitting behind your computer. The TPD has had a checkered past like no other southbay depatment. They've had an officer who beat his wife, some others who were involved in lewd act while on duty and one who committed manslaughter while other officers lied to protect him.

I know the officer and agree he's a great guy. He made some poor choices and it's appropriate that he leave law enforcement.

Neo - I am sorry for the hate in your heart. You could be and do so much more.

Miss Cleo - you threw the first stone, sitting safely behind your own computer and then pointing the finger at others.

We all make choices.

Sorry Sad,but you have me so wrong. There is no 'hate',in my heart for humanity.. but just like day from night, good and bad, right and wrong.. my 'hatred' ebbs out toward these 'heartless' saints(pigs),who feel no guilt in shooting people in the back, molesting kids, selling and using drugs, writing false reports to send people to jail, using racial slurs, beating and having affairs on their spouses, beating people up and etc.,etc.,etc...and then going behind the ol' donut shop and laughing about it with their pig buddies;like they did so much good! They are the most corruptible 'gang' of liars ever put together to 'enforce' the law.Everyone of us,has a 50/50 chance;of going to jail or being killed or injured by these 'thugs',if you are a minority; never reach for a cell phone or your wallet,or your chances of getting beat-down or catching a pigs bullet, will greatly increase, and that's no lie!

I may live in Torrance, I may not. But, if I did, I wouldn't ever call the Torrance Police Department. Again. I'll take care of myself, thank you very much. The TPD is just so much more trouble than they're worth.

BTW, the reason the woman used an out of Torrance attorney is because the TPD has all the local shysters intimidated. Local lawyers won't take a righteous case against the TPD because they fear for their practice and reputation (if not other consequences). And that indictment also includes the judges at the Torrance Court House. Torrance is not free of corruption that is magnified by incompetence and venality.

Torrance PD? Please say it ain't so!

I know this kind of stuff goes on a lot more than people realize. But who will you believe, a perp or a cop?

This woman is a hero for putting a dirty cop down. She's lucky to be alive, especially in Torrance!

Sad thing is this cop could probably get women all day long in the donut shop or at the Broiler Restaurant, did he have to hit on them while working? Dumb dumber!

This woman is the problem, not the officer. He did make a mistake, however this woman was looking at making some money. She went on her own free accord to meet him afterwards, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Sounds like she was interested, then saw that she could cash in on some money. Lets see, not pappy in the picture, need money, lets sue the police, they have plenty of money and if I cry loud enough, I will cash in and get paid.
