Great news! Glad to see Porky's won't end up in a dumpster. Sounds like a good reason to visit Hastings.

This will be a great boost to the Hastings weekend economy!

The putz above can go stroll along with the lite (in the loafers) rail.

Hastings? Sorry but too far for my ride......by the time it gets there
dirt, mud, bugs and dents from flying rocks will have ruined the
beauty of the sheet metal.

Besides what else is there to go for? Let it go....nothing good last
forever you know.

This is another embarassment for the city.... CCLRT was the death knell for this landmark business, the heart and sole of a University Avenue which once was. Two months ago leadership praised themselves for Saint Paul receiving a 'Distinctive Destination for 2011' commendation, in part because of.... this city's preservation efforts! Good Grief.

Why wasn't Porky's viewed asn an asset? Too many structures in Saint Paul continue to needlessly disappear. Can you imagine if Porky's had been moved to the vacant lot across from the XCEL on West Seventh. Mickey's diner one block east, Eagle Street Grill, The Liffey, McGovern's, The Downtowner and Burger Moe's one block west. It could have been something...

If you have never been to Log Cabin Days, take the time to go and plan to spend an entire day. This is definitely worth the drive-I have even driven 225 miles as part of a weekend to go to this event.
This is one of the few places to visit yesteryear as if it was today. Take your camera long, too.

i laugh at prius drivers they pay 25k for 50mpg and i pay 14k for 41mpg, difference of 11k. at 380 a gallon is 2894 gallons times 41mpg is 120,000 miles before we are on equal footing. of course you use 2400 gallons in the same time frame. i used about 500 more gallons costing less than 2k and have 9 k less invested. not a good investment to drive a ugly car.

Daily Horoscope for May 31

Aquarius

The influence of sensual Venus is making you feel expansive, lazy and confident. After yesterday, what a relief! You are more dramatic, fun-loving and attention-seeking than usual, but don't over do it. Not to put a damp rag on things but the higher your hopes, the further you fall. If you can discipline yourself, you have the opportunity to enjoy the luck that surrounds you now.
