CHICO The Love Chapmantown Community Coalition will sponsor four free self-help community workshops one Saturday a month at the Salvation Army, 567 E. 16th St.

Madeline Walton, 2012 Miss Butte County First Runner Up and Andrea Gilsdorf, 2012 Miss Butte County wave to the crowd in a parade that proceeded down Montgomery Street as part of Feather Fiesta Days on Saturday in Oroville.

In Oroville, the Feather Fiesta Grand Parade begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday and runs on Montgomery Street from Fifth Avenue to Oliver Street.

With some stipulations, it is legal to cultivate marijuana in the unincorporated parts of Butte County, but there are rules growers have to follow that have nothing to do with cannabis.
