2 passengers die, driver lives when car goes into NC pond
State troopers say two passengers were killed when a driver lost control of a vehicle and drove into a Cumberland County pond.
Sgt. Joel Siles of the North Carolina Highway patrol told The Fayetteville Observer that the accident occurred at an intersection near the town of Wade about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The site is off U.S. 13 east of Interstate 95.
