Former Smithtown official Bonerba in heroin bust
Robert Bonerba, 62, the disgraced former head of Smithtown's building department, was arrested by state narcotics investigators for buying $500 worth of heroin in a K-Mart parking lot on Tuesday afternoon, according to a state police statement.
