Amish Patel and his cohorts who (other Patels) are also involved in operating local motels should be penalized and run out of town. Otherwise, they will do it again.

I agree with Cheeky, the guests who were cheated will not be back. They will most likely complain to the organization who brought the rodeo to town in the first place. I was cheated at a national chain, not the ones mentioned here, but in Farmington, last year. It will have to be am emergency before I stop in Farmington again. And it was people from the subcontinent running that motel too. These folks do damage to their own kind and to the community as a whole. The community needs to make sure people like this do not do major damage to it with these types of practices.

I think the hotel chain should "rethink" their choice of managers. It seems this man has been blaming everyone but himself. The first rule of a GOOD manager is to take the blame for the employees who work under you. Stop trying to pass the blame on others when YOU are the one who should train them to know what rates are put on what dates! I worked at a hotel in another state some years back and they NEVER raised the rates on special events in town. The rule was "its better to have a full house then get a few extra bucks"

This hotel is not good. Last year I had stayed there while my husband had went through surgery and during my stay. Well, my arms were covered by itchy red bumps and parts of my legs also. Yes, bed bugs....... So watch out for this hotel! I did in deed tell them about it and I never receive anything from them or even a sorry. I stayed in the room right next to the lobby, i think it is rm. 18. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL!!

Is that the hotel that used to be the old Holiday Inn? I heard the health inspector say once that they had replaced the normal swimming pool pump with one that had only a tenth of capacity. He was worried it would breed disease.

Do we have anything like a "Hotel Ethics" board here?

Even if this is real late, no it's not the Holiday Inn i do not believe. i could be wrong, but i realy don't think so. that's the one along the river right?
From what i understand these all are on I-64 on way into Farmington. I believe, don't quote me.

To anyone who does not want to stay in Farmington, i'm doing a commercial for Bloomfield. its a new hotel and a Best Western, very comfortable. Your all more than welcome in this town.

Anytime you are cheated, or not treated right, first complain to the manager, then find out the corporate manager's name, and complain to him. Then, write a letter to the editor.
Publicity is the best way to stop poor service. If this hadn't been published in the Times, nothing would have been done.
Also, if you are treated right and appreciate the service, tell the manager and maybe write a letter to the editor.

He is related to the owner via religion not un like the muslems. They come from the same area as pakistan. They plan and plot rate hikes with out justification. 1 person waks inn then they see how that person is dressed and then the charge the next person a different rate minutes later. This goes on and on daily. This is the first time that he was called on it.
I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but if it has something to do with Hinduism (a religion to which we don't know the managers belong) being similar to Islam, you are completely incorrect. Yes, India is in "the same area as Pakistan," but if you knew anything about the history of that area, you would know that Pakistan and India are rarely on good terms--often because of the huge difference in culture and religion between Muslims and Hindus. Please stop being xenophobic; there are plenty of white Americans who conduct business unethically.

Just so everyone knows, I have been posting for some time under the name of "justataxpayer", but some pathetic liberal troll has copied my name and made fake posts under it. Heh. Ya know the truth got to them when they snag yer name. My work here is done. I'm good. Really, really good.

Therefore, I am going to think of a new user name, so any future posts from "justataxpayer" are the work of this troll, and not my own, no matter what the fake justataxpayer may say.
