OK here we go. First off. This little numb n*t was stupid to do this he could have cost EVERYONE their life on that aircraft. He is obviously too inmature to do the job and realize that when you start out or not so new sometimes in the job you get sent to some not so hot or fun places. That is part of the job. When I worked for UAL everyone thought I was going to exotic and fun locations and seeing celebrities and living life large. No not so true. Short 10 hr layovers, in fabulous cities like Des Moines, Saginaw, White Plains, New York and the Airport Sheraton 4 Points BEFORE a remodel. Yeah not so much fun. That was BEFORE the big cutbacks and bankruptcy. A while back someone said that there were still lots of people standing in line to do this job that would do it for LOW wages. That might be true of all jobs, if there are any, if the economy continues it's tailspin. The point is he said that Flight Attendants were OVERPAID. I beg to differ. You get what the market offers and it is obvious by what is at times being hired that some are simply not up to the standards. Do not get me wrong there are some WONDERFUL flight attendants out there but there are some who are not so nice or good and this is evidence of that. He put EVERYONE on that plane's life at risk. No excuse but you get what you pay for employee wise and the market is tapped. Get ready it is only going to get worse!

Fell off my chair I was laughing so hard! Not sure some on here would understand what you just said. My nephew is gay. I adore him and his partner. They do not seem to be all that excited about "marriage" they said they never needed it in that sense. I think Conan might be on to something. Still laughing.....
