It's about time the property tax rate was lowered. What exactly do we get for our property tax dollars anyway?

Well, you'll find out after these furloughs. Theoretically one shouldn't have to pay property taxes but, then, the other taxes would increase through the roof. The Gov't needs what they need to run everything. The Gov't really doesn't care how they get what they need. If people didn't want to pay Property taxes the Gov't would go ok, just tell us what other taxes you don't mind being increased. Sales taxes? Income taxes? The Gov't is going to get what the need one way or another. There's no getting around it. Property taxes don't seem fair but, doubling the other taxes doesn't either. |
