Protesters Take to the Trees in Fall Creek
By Heather Hintze June 12, 2009 A FALL CREEK, Ore.--A Protesters from the group Eugene Tide Rising are showing their opposition to the Western Oregon Plan Revision--WOPR--by camping out in a tree in the Fall Creek area.
Eugene-area activists have set up a tree-sit in an area of Fall Creek that could be logged under a Bureau of Land Management plan.
