Restaurant Scorecard-Less than "Purrr-Fect" Score

What a coincidence! The inspector just happened to arrive when one employee was sweeping up and left the broom in the wrong place while she was getting a dust pan. At the same time that the inspector arrived, another employee was changing out old food and cleaning the cooler. If Fly Creek Cafe didn't have bad luck, I guess they would have no luck at all. Too bad that the inspector didn't show up at the same time an employee was wiping a chair and then using the same cloth to wipe off a table. Not saying this happened but, I've seen it happen in lots of restaurants and have never seen such bad practices noted on any Health Department report. Customers can't enter restaurant kitchens but, they can observe the cleanliness of other parts of the restaurant and make their own assessment. Such things as are the blades of ceiling fans clean, are shelves dusted, are carpets vacumned, are curtains clean, are table and chair legs clean, does the wait-staff use the same cloth to clean every table in the restaurant, are salt, pepper and condiment containers on the table clean or are they greasy from previous customers, does the wait-staff look clean or do they and their uniforms look like they haven't been washed in a month? These and other tip-offs are how I decide for myself if I will ever eat in a restaurant the 2nd time. Help the Health Inspectors help you and me by reporting these and other things whenever you notice problems.

Great job!!! My wife and I have walked out of Tamaras on two occasions because of dirty silverware, etc. As for Fly Creek....we made a u-turn the first and only time we stopped there because it was filthy!!!!!KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK...on keeping us safe!
