Richard Donald Palmer , 49, pleaded guilty today to 4 counts of touching of a child for lustful purposes, 3 counts of sexual battery, and 5 counts of child exploitation.

Fairfield council changes name of part of Valley Road to Miles College Parkway

A portion of Valley Road in Fairfield has a new name - Miles College Parkway. The Fairfield City Council voted tonight to rename the roadway from the Interstate 59/20 southbound on-ramp to the Birmingham city limits.
