Jim Anderson, of rural Rochester, who worked in the U.S. Weather Service at the Rochester International Airport for 30 years, died May 5, 2012, at Chosen Valley Care Center in Chatfield.

The funeral for Elmyra Anna Holtz will be Monday, May 7, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Eyota, with Rev.

Mayor Wes Bussell would like a little light on the subject. At Thursday's Eyota City Council meeting, Bussell asked city Park Board chairman Kevin Kullot to work on a proposal that would bring lighting to the baseball fields at West Side Park.
