In my last column, I outlined the needs and goals for the Boys & Girls Club's Impact 2012 initiative, which works to improve academic performance among youths, increase good character and citizenship among youths, improve fitness and healthy lifestyles among youths and grow Boys & Girls Club membership from 1,800 to at least 2,300 by 2012.
