Full story: Lovely County Citizen![]()

It is my strong opinion the city officials in power positions are doing a grave injustice to the deer by allowing the animals to continue reproducing year after year without allowing the deer population to be thinned out. I for one am a seasoned bow hunter who would participate in reducing the deer population and would gladly donate the venison to a feed the hungry program.
Would this not be a worthy cause? Thin out the deer population so they do not starve or develop and spread diseases, and at the same time, donate the venison from the harvested deer to a feed the hungry program. I am sure there are alot of families in this county that could certainly benefit from a freezer full of venison, especially with the economy the way it is now. So, there is some food for thought! |
