Anne P. Amadon, 94, formerly of Old Piseco Road, Piseco, N.Y., died Thursday, May 3, 2012, at the Folts Home in Herkimer, N.Y., where she resided for the past 15 years.

Lewis, who famously defeated the Adirondack Park Agency over a challenge to houses on his property in 2009, now has his sights set on the town of Essex.

One of the North Country's most influential and beloved artists passed away last month.
