Through May. The photographs of Alan Craig Barnard, titled "Local Landscapes," will be on display at Blue Wing Gallery, 405 Main St., Woodland through May.

The call for art for the May exhibition at Gallery 625 posed the dual questions: "What does Yolo County mean to you?" and "What does the teen acronym 'Y.O.L.O.: You Only Live Once' mean to you, and how do the two intersect?" Friday, May 3, 6 p.m. There will be an opening reception at Blue Wing Gallery, 405 Main St., Woodland, until 9 p.m. for "Local Landscapes," an art exhibit by Alan Craig Barnard, a photographer.

The creative potential of students from Woodland, Davis and Esparto will be placed front and center in downtown Woodland at First Friday Art Walk.

The call for art for the May exhibition at Gallery 625 posed several questions: "What does Yolo County mean to you?," "What does 'Y.O.L.O.: You Only Live Once' mean to you?," and "How do the two intersect?" The result was farm-themed murals, drawings, ceramics and photographs from youth and adults from throughout Yolo County.
