Man taken to hospital after U.S. 17 wreck
The N.C. Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred near the U.S. 17 intersection where motorists can travel to Washington or Vanceboro.
On Wednesday, the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office's Drug Unit arrested Tion Lakeem Ernul, 25, of 336 Respess St., Washington, and Travis Lamon Cobb, 27, of 241 Coy Road, Washington, on drug-related charges.
He was born in Alliance, on March 15, 1927. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War.
