There is a fee for the classes, and registration at NWTC is required. 7 p.m. - Keynote lecture/live music Frederick 'Doc' Heide, co-founder of, and performer with, American Folklore Theatre, talks about 'What the Heart is Hunting For: A Psychological Perspective.' Cellist Lori Meyer and some of her students from Tutti Strings music studio will music. Nanette Anschutz will be the sign language interpreter. Crossroads at Big Creek, 2041 Michigan St., just east of Wisconsin 42/57, Sturgeon Bay. 10:30 a.m. - Artist talk VSA Wisconsin artist and board member Jon Wos gives an overview of the 'Creative Power' exhibit in the Miller Art Museum, then talks about how his disability has influenced his art and life. The exhibit contains pieces by youth and adult artists with disabilities who find artistic expression vital to their happiness and understanding of the world within and around them. Coffee and treats will be served at 10 a.m. Door County Library, 107 S. The story revolves around a confused 12-year-old and her family living in the American South in 1944. A young Julie Harris was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for this film. Fourth Ave., Sturgeon Bay. 4 p.m. - Book discussion Listeners and participants welcome for a discussion of 'The Heart is a Lonely Hunter,' led by Door County Library director Becca Berger. Scandia Village, 290 Smith Drive, Sister Bay; Scandia residents, their families and nonresidents welcome. 4 to 4:30 p.m. - Live music Just as music by the child and teen prodigy Mozart was appreciated in 'The Heart is a Lonely Hunter,' young Door County String Academy musicians will briefly share some of the music important to their learning process.
