It's almost Christmas, and I'm feeling charitable. So much so that I'll balance a suggestion that hotel magnate Mark Hemstreet use his $295,000 settlement with the Oregon State Police to pay his nearly $200,000 past-due Lincoln County property tax bills with a focus on true generosity.
