Club Can Redo Gun Range Plan

The Manzano Mountain Gun Club is free to try again. The club was turned down in April when it went before the Torrance County Commission for a special-use district to create a gun range in the Mountainair area.

Wind Farm Request OK'd

Nearly everyone packed into the Torrance County Commission chambers Wednesday morning supported a request by Iberdrola Renewables for a special use district on 87,000 acres near Encino that will be home to the El Cabo wind farm.
