A panel's recommendation to improve traffic problems along Interstate 70 in the Colorado high country are now being considered and studied by the state and local communities.

For those who have been involved with the variety of discussions on I-70, it seems as though they've been going on for a lifetime.

Supporters of rail service along Interstate 70 between C-470 and Summit County and proponents of highway widening agreed Thursday on a plan intended to ease congestion in the corridor.
