A sixteen year old, out at 2:40 AM and not wearing a seatbelt? May I ask where the parental responsibility is in this?
When I was 16 I had to be in by 11:00 and was nver allowed out on weeknights. Also, I was smart enough to always wear a seatbelt - the single best thing you can do if you want to make it to 17!
I do hope for a speedy recovery and a lesson learned. Too bad it had to be the hard way. We can't afford to loose any of our precious kids.

Why blame the parents in this? Like he is the first 16 year old that this has happened to! Hopefully he will learn from this.. Hopefully alot of his classmates will learn from this as well..(We can only hope) I had excellent parents but as i got older i had the attitude "it wont happen to me" and thank god it didnt... Most kids are careful some are not... Like I said hopefully all the kids his age will learn something from this unfortunate accident!

I'm sure the parents do care, just alot of time they have little control over what there teenage kids are doing... You can't watch them all the time!!!

Yes there was a party at Mikes but mike bought Garrett no LIQUOR Garrett was already drunk when he showed up, and they made him set down for a good hour to where he then said someone else was driving him home and he left drunk and he left there at 10:00pm, he wrecked at 2:40am!

let me clears somethin up for anyone who thinks they know what happened at mike vermillions house... number one thats my house too. number two yes there was a party at our house that night, yes he did show up already plastered and no we DID NOT buy him any alcohol nor did he drink while he was there. he wanted to leave but nobody would let him. later on around ten he told us that somebody was going to take him home and like idiots we believed him. i dont know where he went after that but obviously he was out drinking again because the wreck happened 4 hours after he left our house... if you have any other questions please feel free to ask

well maybe they didnt allow garrett to drink while he was there but that doesnt change the fact that they have allowed minors to drink there. i have noticed alot of minors there and while maybe they havent allowed them to drive.. letting them drink is bad enough. there is a reason that under 21 shouldnt be drinking. as for her being a HOE.. i have no idea.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Taurus

Everything seems to be getting under your skin at the moment, but this is no excuse to lose your temper, and you know it. Better by far to be discreet and plough on steadily, without looking to the left or right. If you keep your feet on the ground and don't get discouraged, there are definitely fair winds that will blow you along. It's just a question of finding the right balance between confidence and commonsense.
