OBAMA LOOSES JOBS FOR MINORITIES
Ms. Obama, VP Chicago Hosp, that charges minorities 6 times as much, isn’t cold hearted enough, she also caused hundreds to loose their 11.hr jobs, to be more efficient she said! In 05, elected to the BOD Westchester-based TreeHouse Foods, she received $12,000 and $33,000 from a subsidiaries, in Nov announced closing its La Junta, plant, that claimed the jobs of 153 workers, most of them Hispanic! Huge blow to a rural town jobs paid a starting wage of $11hr, Company pays top execs like MICHELLE OBAMA tens of millions a year while destroying middle-class America. Raises the question not only about corporate values but about Barrack Obama's own values. Specifically, while he bashes Wal-Mart, why does his wife, make $45,000 and up a year serving on the board of Chicago comp that pays her a very hefty amount of money while laying off mostly minority workers in economically deprived areas? No. 1 customer is Wal-Mart???
Funny how all the Obama supporters are calling Latino's racist because they did not vote for Obama. Even though we have voted for many African-Americans who now sit in various city's as Councilman, State Representatives, School District officials, etc..etc..
Let's talk about the intimidation that is going on in the Latino community with some African-Americans harassing people on the phone and beating up people for not voting for Obama.
Latinos voted for Hillary because we believe in her and know she will do whatever it takes to help our country get back on it's feet. Create jobs, health-care plan that makes sense, economy, etc..etc.
It's odd nobody is noting the fact that the majority of African-Americans "are" voting for Obama because he is a black candidate and not for what he can do or not do for the country. Only on his Hopes & Dreams speeches with nothing substantial being brought to the table.
As for those who are saying Hillary supporters are ignorant and don't have a clue, let me remind you Obama will need these votes to win the nomination.
Obama supporters are such mean spirited people and they have the nerve to advocate for a person who will supposedly bring unity among all parties.

When the election is between candidates who either display strength or appear to be clearly not the best choice, the election process is easy. The races between two strong candidates with large followings will always require the greatest care in counting votes.

No one can accurately predict the turnout in any political contest, so the fact that there were some problems is not to be strongly criticized, but the matter should be reviewed in an "after action report" of what went right, wrong or had no effect. The "wrong" items should be analyzed and remedied. No one has a crystal ball when it comes to an election. The best preparations can always be found to be flawed by someone, usually the loser in the contest.

The article states that Democratic party officials have been criticized. Is this because the race is so close between Clinton and Obama that literally every ballot could be the turning point in the election? What about the Republican Primary? Was it so lopsided in favor of one candidate that even the sloppiest procedures would not change the outcome?

Before huge volumes of criticism are heaped upon anyone, let the person leveling that criticism examine himself or herself to the point of being able to say with impunity that they could have foreseen the future of election day better than those who worked to make the exercise of the voting right an experience for all who came. The results of the election day experience are directly related to the number of voters who exercise their right to cast a ballot. A hotly contested race can upset any planner's best prediction or preparation.

Critics beware, your claim that the matter could have been handled differently on done better may be tested the next time and you may have to prove how good you really are at the game of politics. Remember that the general election is coming and the vote is likely to be huge, so stay in touch and offer to assist, if you have so many better ideas. If you cannot or will not do that, stop complaining about the work of those who undertake the hard job of making the election process work.

I notice the reporters opinion is that both Clinton and Obama had pretty much written off the state while Richardson was running. Leaving only 3 weeks for them to organize a campaign.

Somehow I highly doubt that Richardson would've carried the state even if the others had not campainged.

A VERY positive sign for Democrats is the fact that a record number of voters came out inforce. No one expected such a high turnout.

In fact, nationally, Democrats outnumbered, Republicans by about 6,000,000 votes.

So how much did the Clinton campaign, which is complaining, help voters find out where to vote, or contribute to the costs of the Caucus? I got a doorhangar from the Obama campaign canvassers saying where to vote. All I got from her campaign were robo-calls and generic mailings from Virginia.

Ron: "What about the Republican Primary?"
The Republicans skipped this chance for their voters. They don't get to vote on President till June.

John: Actually, in the last poll, done months ago, I think Richardson got 44% of the vote. That's why the other candidates weren't here until he dropped out. Since it was Richardson's idea, he should have helped fund it from his leftover Governor's race money, like he did the last time. He has no right to complain.

Bill Richardson was one of the most knowledgable candidates on either side of the political spectrum. His ability to negotiate will make him an excellent Secretary of State or Vice President.

Richardson is just shuffling around right now, until he see's who will become the Democratic nominee. Then, he will make his move. If it's Clinton, he knows he will get a pretty high up cabinet post.
With Sen. Obama, it might be a different story. He may not get a post at all.

With Hilary he may even get the nod as Vice, because he and the Clintons go way back.
