Nice. Maybe if the City continues to put up more hispanic related murals we can continue to attract trouble makers that come into our city as cause problems such as these. Our City police have nothihng better to do than risk their own lives "taking out (social) garbage".
BTW has anybody been to Downtown Davis lately....wow that place is starting to stink with all the homeless around Chipotle, etc.

Full story: The Daily Democrat
A shooting near Jody's Restaurant on Depot Street east of East Street left one man with superficial injuries and authorities without much evidence to go on.

Although no one knows for sure, I am betting it is another worthless, gang-banging cowardly punk who is nothing more than an unwashed, slime ball who is a total drain on society. He shoots and then runs. That is what the cowardly gang-banging punks do. What worthless scum.

The shooting happened Friday night...The Sacto Bee reported it yesterday morning around 10 am...they apparently got the "scoop" before the Local newspaper. By the way, the Sacto Bee also reported another Woodland story about a man being robbed at his home around 2am. Where is the Local paper (Democrat) story on this?

Maybe WPD should let all of the mexican gangs kill each other off then we wouldn't have any more trouble with them. Then when they kill off each other then their family members would get the message and leave town and never come back. We don't know what race the shooter was. The story just said the suspect was dark skinned. It could have been any race. People come to assumptions and conclusions even before the facts are known.
There are many Latinos in Woodland it will be other races that will be leaving town. People who are complaining about other races are the ones who need to go back to their countries where they came from where they can deal with people of their same race and complain about them. |

I had driven by the Jack in the Box about 10:15 pm that night on my way home from Food 4 Less and noted the insane amount of Hispanic congregated in the parking lot there. They were blaring Rancho music. I also saw a Sheriff cruiser go by me when I was further down Main St and then a police car right before I turned on Ashley. I came home and told my husband and his friend that Jack in the Box seems to be the new Hispanic hang out. I have no interesting information, but I just think it is weird how things happen. If I had left Food 4 Less 20 minutes later, would that bullet have hit my car?

If it's really anyone's country, it was the Native American Indians, and also the Mexicans were here before and owned California and of the US land before the US took over. So if you really want to claim a country, go back to your own. |

From your comments it doesn't seem like you are Native American. I would think you have anger against whites for what they did to your people years ago and wouldn't be putting down other races.
I am white, but I'm not racist towards other races and don't agree with what my race has done. We are all humans, and one race is not superior to another. It's sad how in the minds of some "humans" they think are superior to others when they are not at all. Mexico lost part of their land in the war, and sold part of it. Most of your people got it taken away and sent to other parts of the land that were no good. |

I am not racist either, but I am tired of how the majority of the latinos think they need to be treated special. They come to American to get a free ride and hand-outs at the expense of us. Frankly, my need to know this sort of information is next to nothing. I don't care if the DD does not report that gangbanger shot gangbanger in this town. We try not to do anything in that part of town except to pass through (at a high rate of speed - LOL). The DD (and I'm certainly not much of a fan of it) by not reporting "news" like that does more of a service to most of us than by graphic descriptions. Rather not have my weekend spoiled with that kind of tripe. |

Seems that the land was taken away from you and that your people were sent to live in lands that the US decided they did not want and so they gave them to you. I'm sure it was very hard to work to get the US government to allow your "Native American" people to build casinos on lands that were given to you and laws that the Federal government set. It must be nice to sit back on your couch in your donated house that that poor bay area Asians are paying for as they go spend their hard earned money in your Indian casinos.
