Rose Mary Sabo will lay a wreath at the Vietnam War Memorial this weekend. Her husband, Leslie Sabo, died in that war 42 years ago, just a few months after she married the boy she met at a high school football game in Ellwood City, Pa., in 1967.

Obama Awards Posthumous Medal of Honor

Forty-two years after 22-year-old rifleman Leslie H. Sabo Jr. lost his life saving his comrades in an ambush in Cambodia, single-handedly charging enemy positions and tossing a grenade into their bunker, he was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor in a White House ceremony Wednesday.

Police chase in Ellwood City ends when woman crashes into utility pole

According to police, officers pulled over Christian Winterbottom, 26, who had outstanding warrants for her arrest for retail theft along Line and North avenues around 1 a.m. Officers said Winterbottom drove off and after a brief, two-mile chase she crashed into a pole on Woodside Avenue.
