An Ellsinore, Mo., woman was charged Wednesday with murdering her live-in boyfriend after the couple got into a verbal argument as she was preparing to leave for her father's funeral.

All I can say is wow to this lady. My prayers are with Mr. Cookson's family during this time.

Also, I'm concerned at the crime in Carter County! It seems it won't be long before Carter County is right up there with Chicago and Detroit!

Seriously, I was just talking about this to someone this week! I know of at LEAST close to a dozen homicides that have happened (in my lifetime) there. I am sure there are more but if you look at the ratio per capita I bet it is a very high rate for murder, so it may already be up there with Chicago and Detroit.

I think it's a shame. From what I've heard he was a good person and yea they may have had they're disputes but who don't. for the most part, sounds like to me she was just crazy...
