Ellison Bay: Parade is start of new tradition
Groundhog Day, Feb. 2, was an exciting day in Ellison Bay. At 4 p.m. the Groundhog Day Parade was held in the downtown area.

Red Kettle campaign rings in a little extra
The Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign in Door County concluded with a 3 percent increase, surpassing last year's collection by $1,166 for a total campaign collection of $39,792. Ellison Bay: Winter a good time to read a good book
Winter crept in quietly on this northernmost point of the Peninsula, but it certainly didn't stay long! Maybe by the time this appears in the paper, we will have a foot of snow.
