Pair arrested during traffic stop
Daphene Mitchell, 37, and Donald Nixon, 32, both of Palestine, were arrested shortly after 3:45 a.m. Wednesday following a traffic stop on U.S. 287 near the intersection of CR 1405 between Palestine and Elkhart, according to Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor.
