I hope these check forgers get what they deserve, I was an identity theft victim through stolen checks many years ago, lucky for me a store clerk called the police and the people trying to purchase groceries with my checks were detained and jailed, and the police notified me. It took months to clear up with the bank, etc. What a Nightmare!

I hope the victims of this case do better than I did when I presented the police/da with a handful of stolen checks, in which I identified the person who forged them, and they even had his thumprint on the check...but would not prosecute due to..what did they say...oh yeah, "lack of evidence".

I always thought that thumbprints were "evidence" Guess I was wrong. |
