Horseshoe admissions down 8%, wagering off 11%
Admissions to Horseshoe Southern Indiana fell from 202,711 in January 2011 to 186,653 in January 2012, a drop of 7.9 percent, according to a monthly gaming report released Wednesday by the Indiana Gaming Commission.

Twelfth Night festival at Somerville Reformed Church on Sunday
A traditional Twelfth Night Festival will be held Sunday, Jan. 8, at 4 p.m. at the Somerville United Reformed Church, at 100 West Main St.
She was born September 29, 1950 in Sharon, PA the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Ulrich.
