LA walk seeks to continue progress against homelessness

Homelessness appears to have dropped dramatically in the last two years. In the South Bay region - which includes Long Beach - 500 fewer people are living on the streets than in 2007, a reduction of about 11 percent, according to the 2009 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count.
