In this day and age of "American Idol" and "America's Got Talent," many have been inspired to travel across the country for a chance to gain that 15 minutes of fame on a national stage -- even though most of us Carrie Underwood and Ruben Studdard wannabes are better off sticking to shower solos.

I am so proud of your and the way you allow God to us the gift he has given you. I am blessed to be called your friend and I love you for who you are. I were to speak these word to you in person I know you would say "To God be the glory." Be blessed and continue to be a blessing.

Deniese is el paso's best-kept secret! i was fortunate enough to have her as a guest on a morning newscast where she so kindly agreed to sing for us LIVE at 6am!

she's not only one of the most talented people i've ever met, but she's a total sweetheart!

great article, wayne. i only wish other media outlets would give deneise the due attention she deserves. we're lucky to have her. she's definitely a "big-timer."
