In the third, at Farmer in the Dell at the corner of Crystal Road and M-46, thieves managed to break-in without detection and employees discovered the trouble at 7:30 a.m. today.

"My dad, when we were kids in Montabella a lot of people trapped so it was kind of a natural thing if you were a deer hunter or some other type of sportsman, you trapped," current Edmore resident Chris Miller said.

Eight people, including at least four people with ties to mid-Michigan, have been indicted in what the U.S. Attorney's Office calls a "kickback scheme." Another mid-Michigan doctor faces similar state charges.

A three-car collision this morning near Edmore propelled a mini-van into a modular home, knocking the structure off its foundation.
