Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue approximately two weeks of pavement repairs on Westbound Interstate 20 between SH 110 south of Van and Willow Branch Road near the Van Zandt County Line.

On Thursday April 12, 2012 the Van Zandt County Sheriff's Office along with the Edgewood Police Department recovered three tombstones near the Oak Hill Cemetery in Edgewood, Texas.

About 30 Edgewood ISD employees won't have a job at the end of the school year, after the board approved lay offs Thursday night.

The Texas Department of Transportation reports several East Texas roadways are either closed or under observation for high water following today's rain event.
