Five people are dead after three separate traffic crashes in Wisconsin over just a few hours.

A 6-year-old boy and a 54-year-old were killed Tuesday near Edgerton when a driver lost control of his car and crashed into a minivan on I-39/90. The Capital Times of Madison says Ruby Alexander, 54, and the 6-year-old boy, both from Rochester, died in the wreck and three other people suffered non-life threatening injuries.

EDGERTON, Wis. Two Minnesota residents have been killed and four others injured in a two-vehicle crash in southern Wisconsin.
