MUNCIE -- State Sen. Sue Errington on Tuesday kicked off what will be a contested campaign for a second term, and the Muncie Democrat said she hoped voters would look at her record on health care, jobs and education.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Sen. Sue Errington, D-Muncie, joined most other Senate Democrats in voting against putting property tax caps in the Indiana Constitution.

UPDATE: The Posey County Sheriff's Office has identified Steve Duncan of Eckerty, Ind., as the truck driver injured in an early morning accident on Interstate 64.

The Crawford County Council, meeting at the county judicial complex in English, last Tuesday night voted 6-1 to adopt a resolution establishing requirements for the application and approval of economic revitalization area designation and for property tax abatement.
