More than 3,000 acres have burned near Echo, Oregon. Umatilla County Emergency management staff say the fire started around 2:00 Monday afternoon on a farm near Rew Elevator.

Update 5:52 PM: Emergency officials are reporting the 'Echo Fire', burning north of Pendleton, has burned between 3000 and 3500 acres.
