Lisbon council takes no action on kickoff funds
Village Council took no action on a renewed request from the Lisbon Area Chamber of Commerce to help fund a summer kickoff event scheduled for June 7. Irene W. Early, 96, of Denver, formerly of East Palestine, died at 10:47 a.m. Sunday at the Olde Knox Commons in Huntersville, N.C. Mrs. Early had been employed as a cafeteria aide for the East Palestine School District for 20 years, retiring in 1986.
