June 13 Paul Mitchell, 26, of East Orland was summoned for failing to register his vehicle.

The Morrill Fire Department Auxiliary will hold a fundraiser to purchase rescue equipment from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, May 20, at Redman's Hall on Main Street in Belfast.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

The following cases were closed in Ellsworth District Court from March 1 to March 5. Joshua D. Allen, 17, of Sedgwick, attaching false plates, $150 fine.

Zachary S. Allen, 21, of Ellsworth, minor consuming alcohol, dismissed. Dominick S. Alley, 67, of East Orland, failing to obey a red flash light, $50 fine.
