The Suffolk County Police Department reported the following arrests: Northport Bjoern Lienemann, 43, from Northport was arrested in East Northport on May 19 and charged with petty larceny and possession of a hypodermic instrument after he allegedly stole a Toshiba portable hard drive from Radio Shack on Fort Salonga Road.

Fourteen units will be shaved off the proposed Matinecock Court Housing Development in East Northport as a result of a Suffolk County variance ruling announced last week.
