Man charged with crashing into police cruisers
A Woodbury man is facing charges of ramming his vehicle into two police cruisers during a chase.
Fifty-three-year-old Stuart Bagley has been charged with aggravated assault and grossly negligent operation.
The chase started Thursday after Vermont State Police responded to a report of a minor crash on Route 15 in West Danville in which a man said his vehicle was rear-ended by another car whose driver then fled.
Police spotted Bagley's vehicle on Route 15 in Walden. Two troopers followed him through East Hardwick and Greensboro Bend during a pursuit in which Bagley's vehicle rammed the cruisers, disabling his own vehicle in the process, police said. Read more
