The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office is investigating an accident that involved a Gowanda woman on April 6. Susan E. Korbar, 56, of Stafford Road, Gowanda was traveling south on State Route 353 when a vehicle driven by Dominick F. Drumsta Jr., 53, of East Concord failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Leon Road and Route 353.

City officials had their first chance to comment on a consultant's report of possible future lives for Concord's old elementary schools, and they had one thing on their minds: trying to please East Concord.
