Hampton County, South Carolina officials arrested four shooting suspects. Officials say four men from Yemassee were arrested and charged with assault with intent to kill in connection to a Sunday night shooting incident in Early Branch on Hicksville Road.

Inez Mack, 90, of New Haven, born March 1, 1919 in Early Branch, South Carolina to the late Elizabeth Shaw, went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 8, 2009.

Four of the 37 people arrested back in April were in a Hampton County, SC courtroom today, on cockfighting charges, the first in Hampton County's history.

Thirty-seven people have been arrested in Hampton County, charged with cockfighting.

The Hampton County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 39 people for cockfighting. Officers said around 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 18 approximately 39 people were detained in Early Branch.
