Volunteer Pa. ambulance driver arrested for DUI

A volunteer for the Eagles Mere Ambulance Association was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after the ambulance he was driving crashed over the weekend while transporting a patient to a hospital, according to the state police and the Eagles Mere fire chief.

Not only was he not arrested, dui blood tests came back negative. This should have never been reported this way. Whoever put this travesty out should themselves be arrested.
How many lives are saved every day by volunteers who drop everything to respond to emergency - and far too often frivolous - calls.
This driver and every volunteer responder should e given our heartfelt gratitude - not this sort of journalistic crap.
Such mis-reporting should be a mass call for canceled subscriptions.
