Man charged with assault on girlfriend in DuPont
A 27-year-old man was charged Tuesday with assaulting his girlfriend Sunday on Interstate 5 in DuPont and authorities say items found during his arrest indicate he might be responsible for burglaries in the area.
Man suspected of felony assault jailed
Washington State Patrol troopers arrested a man late Sunday after he allegedly injured a woman while in a car on Interstate 5. The two had reportedly argued after he got lost and drove to the State Patrol scale house off northbound I-5 near DuPont, trooper Guy Gill reported.
