Monday, June 22, 2009 Dunlap High School Sixty-seven alumni and friends met June 6 for the biennial meeting of the Dunlap Rural High School Alumni Association at the Community Christian Church in Council Grove.

Rain couldn't stop Wah-Shun-Gah Days activities Saturday at Council Grove. The storms interrupted plans, and organizers moved some of the outdoor events to venues inside.

Several fire crews worked to put out a blaze in Americus Sunday night. Fire units from Americus, Emporia, Dunlap and Admire were called to a house fire just before 5:30pm Sunday.
