DUNKIRK -- More than a dozen fire departments helped pour water into the Saint-Gobain Containers glassmaking factory on Friday after one of the furnaces that melts glass began leaking.

Eight fire departments are battling a huge factory fire in Dunkirk northeast of Muncie Friday afternoon.

The city water department will be flushing hydrants next Monday through Friday, with the work beginning on the south side of the railroad tracks.
