After examining physical damage, reviewing weather instruments and taking statements from residents, the National Weather Service has determined that a tornado touched down in Dundalk during a violent storm Tuesday afternoon that damaged buildings and toppled trees over much of the Baltimore metro area.

Investigators with the National Weather Service tell ABC2 News they are sending an investigator to Dundalk at 12:30 this afternoon to determine whether storm-damage there was the result of a tornado.
